Meet emily dean, LPC
You’re already stronger than you think you are.
You’re in the right place.
My style
I believe that therapy should be a space for you to connect to your best self.
It’s important to me to bring a sense of warmth, clarity and even levity to my clients. Life can be hard and trauma is intense, and in my office you will find a place for grounding, connection, and learning practical strategies to face whatever challenges life has for you. I believe that our minds and bodies are always at work to heal, and with the right tools we can work together to facilitate powerful change.
I have had the privilege to work with clients from all walks of life in my 17 years in the mental health field. I have learned about resilience in the face of trauma through my work in juvenile treatment centers, the foster care system, community health centers, domestic violence shelters, and right in clients’ homes before I started my private practice in Bordentown in 2020.
I love both living and working in Bordentown, with all of its historic and small-town charm. I’m a mom of two awesome children and a cuddly bullmastiff. I’m married to an amazing therapist (check out the cool stuff he does here!). I love to run jog, practice yoga, and rewatch The West Wing (currently on #5).
